• Ross asks Rachel how she feels about his engagement, and Rachel insists that her four dates with Joshua amount to a serious relationship.
• Ross proposes that he and Emily have dinner with Rachel and Joshua on Sunday, and Rachel agrees.
• Monica collects Emily's gown from the bridal shop, gives the saleswoman Emily's name, and tries the dress on herself.
• Ross tells the others that the wedding is a month away, because the place Emily wants is about to be torn down.
• Rachel asks Joshua to marry her, and Joshua turns her down, citing his unfinished divorce and how briefly they have dated.
• Chandler introduces himself to a woman named Marjorie in the sleep clinic waiting room while Joey sleeps through it.
• Monica and Phoebe practice catching a bouquet in their wedding dresses at home, then admit to each other how sad they have become.
• Rachel tells Monica and Phoebe that Ross's wedding is what upsets her, because she had assumed she and Ross would end up together eventually.
• Joshua comes to the apartment, finds Rachel in a wedding dress, and leaves at once.
