The Last One (Parts 1 & 2)

Erica gives birth to twins for Monica and Chandler as the apartment is packed up, and Ross chases Rachel to the airport to stop her leaving for Paris, where she boards but then gets off the plane.

What happens

• Ross tells Joey and Phoebe that he and Rachel slept together, and decides he wants to be with her again.
• Rachel treats the night as a fond farewell, and Ross says nothing about wanting more.
• Erica delivers a boy, and Chandler cuts the umbilical cord.
• The doctor announces a second baby, Chandler argues for placing one for adoption, Monica refuses to separate them, and a girl is born.
• Gunther tells Rachel that he loves her, and Rachel lets him down kindly before leaving the coffee house.
• Ross decides to go after Rachel rather than let her leave, and Phoebe drives him to the airport in her cab.
• Joey and Chandler find the chick and the duck trapped inside the foosball table and agree to break it open.
• Monica smashes the table apart, and Chandler tells Joey to keep the birds so that Joey has a reason to visit.
• Ross reaches Rachel at the gate and asks her to stay, but Rachel boards the plane anyway.
• Rachel leaves a message saying she loves Ross, then arrives at his apartment having got off the plane, and the two agree they are together for good.
