Monica accuses Chandler's new maid of stealing her clothes, Joey talks Rachel out of moving away before her baby comes, and Phoebe's date with Ursula's ex collapses when he sleeps with Ursula by mistake.

What happens

• Chandler admits that the spotless apartment is the work of a maid he hired, and Monica grudgingly agrees to give her a chance.
• Eric calls Phoebe to tell her he has broken off his engagement to Ursula, and Phoebe agrees to have lunch with him.
• Rachel tells Ross she is looking for a new apartment before the baby arrives, and Ross suggests the unit of a neighbour he believes has just died.
• Ross and Rachel learn at the door that Mrs. Verhoeven is still alive, and Ross bluffs a friendship with her while Rachel asks how many bedrooms the place has.
• Monica decides that the maid is wearing her stolen jeans, and Chandler persuades her to hold off until she has proof.
• Ross mentions the apartment hunt to Joey, and Joey realises for the first time that Rachel intends to move out.
• Eric tells Phoebe that Ursula came by and he slept with her thinking she was Phoebe, and Phoebe calls the relationship off.
• Rachel admits she took the jeans and points out that Monica is wearing the missing bra, and Brenda quits on the spot.
• Joey shows Rachel the corner he has set aside for the baby and asks her to stay, and Rachel agrees.
• Ross arrives with the news that the apartment is finally free, and Rachel tells him she is staying with Joey.
